NEST Period Dates

If you receive an error that the pay period dates in your submission do not match the expected pay period or pay period length for the applicable NEST Group, please review the Contribution Plan and subGroup used in payroll against the NEST Group and Payment Source. 

If once these match you are still having issues matching period dates, please contact Employment Hero Payroll support to assist in matching those dates.

Example of the type of error message you will receive:

Your Contributions submission does not match any pay period expected by the pension provider NEST. You have submitted start date 2019-03-22 and end date 2019-04-18The closest correct pay period(s) to the pay period provided in your submission are as follows: Start Date 2019-03-06 to End Date 2019-04-02; Start Date 2019-04-03 to End Date 2019-04-30;

The pay period dates in your submission do not match the expected pay period length for the applicable Group. Typically this happens when at least one of the following elements is wrong compared to what is expected: - period start date and / or period end date - group Please ensure that both the pay period dates and the Group are correct. You can view the 'Payment frequency' of your Group(s) on the NEST website in the 'Your groups' section. Please check your data, amend the pay periods and/or Group in payroll and try again. You have submitted the following details: period start date: 2019-04-13, period end date: 2019-04-26, group: My group For this group the expected frequency is Weekly
