Create a new Nest scheme through PensionSync

Register with Nest

Before you can create a brand new Nest scheme, you need to have a Nest user account. You can sign up for this here, either as an Employer (if you are creating your own company's scheme) or as a Nest Connect user (suitable for accountants, advisers and payroll agencies managing Nest schemes for their clients). 

As part of the sign up process, you will create a username and password, which you will need in order to authorise the link between Employment Hero PensionSync and your Nest scheme(s). 

Create a brand new Nest scheme

Use Employment Hero PensionSync's NEST Scheme Creation Wizard - this is a streamlined process to set up a brand new NEST scheme in just a couple of minutes.

The Scheme Creation Wizard works as follows:

- Open the PensionSync Dashboard from in payroll

- Select Tools -> Create Scheme on the left hand menu in Employment Hero PensionSync

- Complete the simple 6-step Scheme Creation Wizard and submit, using your Nest username and password to authorise the connection to your Nest user account. 

- The main employer contact will receive an email from NEST to login to the Nest website and approve the terms and conditions and add the Nest payment source (direct debit to pay the contributions to Nest).

Once the scheme has been fully set up on the Nest website, you can add the pension scheme in the Pension Settings screen in payroll
