When processing a refund of employee pension contributions due to the employee choosing to opt out of the pension scheme, you may get an error on the pension submission due to the presence of negative contributions.
This can be quickly resolved by selecting the Pension Settings screen for the employee in question, and removing the tick next to 'Already enrolled in the scheme'.
You can then save the screen, and 'Resubmit via PensionSync' from the pay run.
