We have had a few reports of the following errors when upload files through PensionSync Flexible File Upload:
On investigation, these occur when there are extra "blank" rows in the CSV file.
If you are viewing the file in Excel, you won't see these, as they will show as blank rows. However, if you open the file as text (e.g. in Text Editor or Notepad) you would see a load of extra commas underneath the rows of actual data.
How to fix this
If you remove the extra rows of commas, save the file, and upload again it should work.
An example of the extra commas that need to be removed is highlighted in yellow in the below screen shot:
