People's Pension Group

When you set up your People's pension scheme in KeyPay, via pensionsync the Contribution Plan to must be set as the Worker Group ID as shown on the People's Pension website - under the Manage worker group section.

if the Contribution Plan is incorrect in payroll, you may get an error when you submit your data via pensionsync, such as:

The submission includes a Group identifier that doesn't match what the pension provider is expecting. The pension provider The People's Pension refers to this as the 'Worker Group ID' but it might be called something else in payroll. Please ensure that the correct details have been entered for the scheme in payroll. Please note that if a user has recently added the Group on The People's Pension portal, it may need to update overnight before you can submit this data.

The submission doesn't have a Group identifier in it. The pension provider needs this to process the data.The Group identifier is the name given to a subset of the pension scheme - this pension provider refers to it as 'Worker Group ID'. Please ensure that the correct group name has been entered for the scheme in payroll.
