As part of Smart's validation of your data, they check that the employment start date for an employee matches the date they have in their records from when the employee was enrolled.
If you get the following error, it typically means that the employment start date at Smart is not the same as the employment start date in payroll. Please update one or other system to the correct date, so that both systems match, before resubmitting the data.
Code: 109 - Title: The starts on does not match our existing record for this employee. - Detail: You can't change an employee's starts on via file upload. If you need to update this detail please update the employee record manually. Also check your file upload to make sure it contains the correct starts on entry.
